We would like to thank everybody who attended our Lunch and Learn on May 22. It was a huge success and a fun time for all. There was a great presentation by Marcus P. All questions got answered by the group of Gonzales Master Gardeners in attendance and a drawing for lots of Texas SuperStar plants. We hope you will be able to attend our next Lunch and Learn. Please check back for the date and topic.
The new class of the Gonzales Master Gardeners will be starting in September.
If you've been seeing a lot more turtles on the road it's because it is migration season. They are looking for suitable nesting sites or places to forage. Please be on the lookout for them crossing the roads and try to avoid hitting them. If you must move one off the road do it in as straight a line as possible in the direction they were heading.

The Gonzales Master Gardeners are people who love gardening and want to learn more about horticulture. Master Gardeners enjoy sharing their plant knowledge with others and promoting the love of gardening.
What really sets Master Gardeners apart from other home gardeners is their special training in horticulture. In exchange for their training, persons who become Master Gardeners contribute time as volunteers, working through the Texas AgriLife Extension office to provide horticulture-related information to the community.
