2nd Grade-PINS

Participating in Natural Science

View Past 2nd Grade Project
In 2nd Grade, we are learning Participating in Natural Science. We call the programs PINS for short! The goal of the program is for students to learn about natural processes by doing a project.

In our first session, students made terrariums from recycled materials and they learned about the water cycle. It's loads of fun and a good project to understand such cycles as rain.

In our second cycle, students learn about making paper and get to make a holiday card for their family. It's kinda' messy but that's why we do it at the PACE building where we don't have to worry about that so much!
